Horacio “El Pebete” Godoy

Horacio Godoy is a renowned and established Tango dancer, teacher, producer, choreographer and Tango DJ. He started his professional Tango career in 1991 and worked in the most prestigious tango clubs of Buenos Aires. He is also known as the founder and director of one of the largest and most famous tango venues today in Argentina, “La Viruta”. He has been part of many famous tango companies, such as Forever Tango, Tango Argentino, Tanguera and Chantecler Tango. With Tango Argentino he has participated in their spectacular company’s closing show staged in the very center of Buenos Aires in front of 20,000 people. Horacio Godoy has been traveling the world, teaching Tango, performing in over 38 countries, participating in over 100 international festivals and DJing at the best Milongas in Buenos Aires. Horacio has produced two Tango CDs (“Ojos de Tango and “Esteban Morgado”) and is currently working on the third one. His teaching methodology focuses on musicality and dynamics and his dance is extremely engaging, expressive and rhythmical.

Cecilia Berra

Cecilia Berra began her career as a Tango dancer in 1998 and as a teacher in 2001. She has a broad background across different disciplines such as contemporary dance, circus and contact improvisation. She learned Tango from the greatest maestros (Walter Gomez, Luciana Valle, Dina Martinez, Gustavo Naveira, Claudio Gonzalez, Melina Brufman, Mariela Sametband, Gaston Torelli, Cecilia García)evolving her tango along the years and developing her own style and techniques. She currently resides in Barcelona, where she is a teacher and organizer. She has been traveling around the world, teaching Tango and performing in international tango festivals.


Dionisis is the winner of the Tango Acropolis Competition 2011 in the category Tango Escenario. Chloe has studied classical and contemporary dance and her career was focused on these disciplines, until tango came along. Dionisis and Chloe started their collaboration in October 2011 and, together, they became the Greek Champions of Tango Escenario in the Tango Acropolis competition 2012. They are active members of the Argentinean choreographer Gustavo Russo’s company “Tango Seduccion”, with which they tour the world regularly with the productions “Tango in Red Major”and “Tango Revolution”.

Their base is the studio TANGart in Athens, Greece, where they teach and are in charge of the administrative and artistic direction among other professional dancers. They travel regularly and have taught and performed widely in Greece and abroad, participating in renowned international festivals.


Dancers of Tango Argentino since 2004 and a couple in tango as well as in daily life since 2009.Teaching in many dancing schools of Athens since 2009, until they founded their own tango school, the Academia del Tango in Athens, Greece in September 2011, where they give their classes and their private lessons. In 2013, they were awarded European Champions in the category of Tango Salon, having already conquered second place in Europe the previous year and first place in Greece in 2011 at the same category.

They are often invited worldwide to give seminars and shows at various events, milongas and festivals (TanGo to Istanbul Festival, Tango Folies Festival, Tango Emotion Festival, AniverTango Festival, Auroville Holi Tango Festival, Cretango Festival, Rodos Tango Festival, Patras Ionian Tango Festival, Sunny Tango Festival, Tango Kalamata Festival) all around the world, such as Argenitna, India, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus.

Known for their clarity and insight in the technical aspects of the Tango, as well as for the sensibility they bring out as a couple and for the positive energy they pass on in their shows and classes.

Their main maestro is Silvio La Via and Sebastian Arce while they have attended classes from Sebastian Arce, Leandro Oliver & Laila Rezk, Sebastian Jimenez & Maria Ines Bogado, Max Van De Voorde & Solange Acosta, Julio Balmaceda & Corina De La Rosa, Natalia Hills & Alejandro Aquino, Diego Ortega & Aldana Silveyra, Sebastian Achaval & Roxanna Suarez.


Ziad Kassis

Ziad Kassis is one of the most remarkable dance personalities in Lebanon and the Region, whom through his remarkable skills, innovations and artistic imagination could drive the Dance Scene in Lebanon to enter the new Dance Generation, opening new Horizons for Dancers creating the first links with the International Dance Scene in Ballroom and Latin, Tango Argentino and Salsa Dancing.

Ziad started his Dance Career in the Latin and Standard categories domain where he succeeded to be the all the time Gold Medal championships winner in both Latin and standard categories.

He introduced Salsa & Tango Argentino to Lebanon as a complete Dance Scene in 2001 where he created the two trademarks: SALSA LEBANON (c) & TANGO LEBANON (c) He dedicated himself to others opening opportunities to them in the Salsa & Tango scene fields which created a dynamism in the scene through his derivatives.

Thanks to his solid dance background in the Couple Dance Categories and through his surrealist character composition, Ziad is now an inspiration for dancers who got to know him, he could make use of all this to offer the Dance Scene in Lebanon a foundation for a great and solid connection with the international Dance scene level.

The impact that Ziad's dance Pedagogy has on the social dance scene andspecifically in SALSA & TANGO is not only a direct impact on close students but also a dance generator extended over the whole national scene.

  • Jihane Feghali

    Jihane is a remarkable Tango Argentino dancer whom skills and potential led her to upgrade her performance in both performing and teaching fields in no time. She adapted Ziad's Teaching Pedagogy and Structure as her reference throughout her Tango Dance involvement. She has been assisting Ziad for around 5 years at the Dance Anatomy Studio Tango Classes. Jihane travelled to develop her Tango Knowledge and Experience to several International Tango Festivals where she had the chance to learn from the world best Tango Maestros through workshops and special private classes. Her upgrading potential offered her the opportunity to work with Ziad in the Cyprus Tango Meeting & the Istanbul Int'l Tango Festival as hosted Int'l Tango Maestra & Performer. Jihane is now leading the 1st and only Regular Ladies Technique Group Class in Lebanon @ Dance Anatomy Studio.
